enjoy breathtaking views and quick access to beautiful park areas
I spent a weekend here to celebrate a milestone birthday, and I really loved the outstanding scenery with amazing views of Rutland Water, along with the easy access to the lovely Normanton Church just a short walk away, making all my city strolls very enjoyable. the friendly staff were also a highlight for me, adding to a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Single travelers will appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the standard double room, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring, but the rooms could use a little modern update for better comfort.

A charming stay featuring spacious rooms with glimpses of the lake, though decor appears a bit worn. The staff's warmth and professionalism shined, especially during busy breakfast hours. Dining offered high-quality gourmet sandwiches and beautifully presented meals, but breakfast can get quite crowded. Access to the enchanting lakeside walk adds to the allure of the location.

Had an awesome time on our one-night stop. The location is just perfect, right by Rutland Water. Really loved that we could bring our dog – made the stay more fun! The room was comfy and shower was divine. Just a little annoying that the kettle was so low. my kid could reach it easily.
